Vermentino is the typical wine in the area of Diano Marina and Diano Castello, also known as Malvasia Grossa, Carbesso. It’s native to Portugal
It began to be cultivated in the “Riviera di Ponente” in the medieval period.

Today the Ligurian tradition regards this wine as the most important. It has bright yellow color with greenish light and it has a fruity fragrance of citron. Vermentino is perfect with the traditional Ligurian cuisine, for any type of dish, from seafood starter to grilled vegetables.
